I want to share this story...

This is a repost from my friendster blog. Everything written in here is true. I just want to share this story...

This guy said I'm stupid

It wasn't a date!

Flashback.....

It was on August last year that I lost my cellphone and MP4 player in Marbel. At 2 A.M., I was scared and confused while I waited for a tricycle that would bring me to the local police station to report a burglary. Once there, I was just like a shadow that nobody cared for, my weak voice only murmured "I lost my phone..." and the desk officer merely gawked at me.

No reaction.

I said it again, "I lost my phone! Somebody stole it while I was sleeping. Do you have a phone here? I would like to try if I can still reach my number. I want to call my father in Davao." I was near in tears! Damn! I really hate to cry so I just swallowed all my tears. This desk officer has no load, damn! I badly need my family that time, I wanted to go home but I just can't...

Then another police came, he was talking on the cellphone quite arrogantly... He was referred to as "sir," I thought maybe this person could help me. After I made my statement for the blotter, this "sir" policeman approached the desk and asked what happened. The desk officer told him about my story and nicely asked if he could lend me his other cellphone so that I can make a call back home.

This "sir" policeman was nice, after all... He lent me his phone, drove me to the nearest loading station, drove me home and still offered to accompany me at the house until 7:00 A.M.

Fast forward.....

When I went back to Marbel the following month, this sir policeman asked if we could have dinner together. I kindly accepted his invitation.

It wasn't a date!

It wasn't a date!

It wasn't a date!

He confessed his feelings (take note, on our second meeting?!?! Duh?!?!) and then I told him I'm committed with somebody (true!). I have no feelings or whatsoever for him. Hello?!?! I don't even know him that well.

But this sir policeman is persistent. He told me that it's okay that I'm committed, he has no problem becoming number 2 (whaaat?!?!), and tried to persuade me more by saying that dating two (or more?) persons at a time would be advantageous for me because in that way, I would have a chance to choose who among those I'm dating is the best (I really think he's sick! I said I'm committed, not just dating...). It just gave me the idea that this guy's a cheater. Hmpf!

Give me a break. It was just our second meeting and why in the world did it happen?

I said NO.

After a few moments, when I stood firm on saying NO, he was already literally blackmailing me! This guy is nuts! Uber nuts! ='(

He even said:

  • Pinag-drive kita... (Nag-offer ka man, eh di go!)
  • Pinahiram ko pa sayo yung cellphone ko para makatawag ka sa papa mo... (Eh pera ko naman yung ginamit ko pang-load..)
  • Sinamahan pa kita sa bahay mo kasi alam kong takot ka... (yeah, i was scared, nag-thank you man pud ko)
  • Hindi ako nakatulog dahil sayo... (24 hours din naman dapat duty mo...)
  • Hindi ako nakapunta sa appointment ko dahil sayo... (Kasalanan ko ba if you stayed until 7 AM?)
  • I really think you're a smart girl, nasa lawskul ka pa, pero kagaya kayo ng ate ko, bobo sa pag-ibig! (putangina ang sakit nyang magsalita.. Oo nah, I'm stupid when it comes to love, wala akong pakialam!)

Umulan....

A friend named Mark was also in the restaurant where sir policeman and I had dinner. Mark approached me with a big smile, "Ate Sweet!" Lord, you've been so good to me. All I could think of was, my savior, Mark is my savior that night. I invited Mark to accompany me at the house for that night. And dun ko na binuhos lahat ng sama ng loob ko sa sir policeman na yun.. Putah talaga!!!

Last December, before Christmas, sir policeman sent me text messages.. One of them was...

  • Nagpacheck-up ako, ECG, sabi ng Doctor, may sakit daw ako sa puso... Naalala lang kita.. Ganyan ka ba talaga? Nakakasakit ng puso?

Putaaaaahhhh!!! So, he blamed me... WTF?? Well, anyway, good luck nalng!

Currently, I have resigned from my job... Surely, I'm going to miss Marbel and all my escapades there (of course, that includes the story you have just read)...
