I made an appeal. Their appeal form had questions such as: Would visitors to our site have any reason to increase our Adsense earning? Any relevant information that you believe may explain the invalid click activity we detected?
It was hard answering those questions. The site that has the most visitors is www.lawschoolfunk.com and it is a compilation of my law school notes, case digests, and links to Philippine jurisprudence. The visitors are mostly students who are mostly referred to by search engines when they do their research for law school. I don't see why any of these students would purposely commit invalid activities to prejudice me. I don't see why they would do such thing when I'm giving them easier access to the information they need. But I don't suspect any of them to be the culprit.
It might have been wrong for me to write about my expected cheque in my last post here in my personal blog. I remember Kevin Paquet, after the MB Summit in Cagayan, when his account was also suspended because of invalid clicks. Kevin has mentioned his earnings during that summit and it might have caused those insecure people to do something to suspend Kevin's account. I can only say one thing: Wala'y tambal sa insecure.
I feel sad and hurt. I've been maintaining my blogs since 2005 and this is the first time that this has happened to me. I am not really earning very big from blogging but the passive income I generate from it somehow helps. I don't mind if I wait for 2 years just to reach a hundred dollars, what's important for me is that somehow I have shared to my fellow bloggers that they can use their internet time to earn decently and that they can use their potentials in a good way.
I was here to inspire. But now, I'm really hurt.
Ops, Google Search Alert has led me here for "kevin paquet"
ReplyDeletehehe.
Did you try to check your visitor stats? Do you use Google Analytics? Maybe you can trace kung saang sulok ng mundo galing ang palaging nag ki-click ng mga ads. Or if you hosted it on your own, you may want to have a look at your cpanels awstats.
Wish you luck in getting this issue resolved. Well, I have "somehow" resolved mine, but still it ended up in me on the losing end. Hindi na ako masyado nagboblog. Wala nang gana. >.<
Too bad, my appeal was denied.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I wouldn't want to bother checking my analytics account anymore. I'll just leave it as it is. I'm glad I've earned something from Google but maybe I will have to let go of this issue now.
Thanks for the info, Kevin...
Maybe I should say goodbye to the blogging world, for now...
