I've been sick the past three days, so sick that I was not able to go to the office and gave myself a really bad and ridiculously long weekend that I could not use for a vacation. This is purely resting time, imagine going to sleep, eat, sleep again, drink medicines, sleep, and the cycle goes on.
So, what I thought was just some minor sore throat bloomed into a very very ugly case of tonsilitis. My fever shot up with its highest at 39.3 degrees Celius. I intentionally took out the thermometer before the beep because the reading was getting higher. Hitting 39 made me really nervous! I had chills that sent me deep down below my comforters which I would not normally use due to my room being insanely hot! Well, my room surely felt like it was on the Arctics a few days ago.
I treated my tonsilitis with doctor-prescibed Axet (Cefuroxime Axetil) twice a day. And of course, good ol' Biogesic every four hours for my fever. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that I was getting better. And tonsilitis was getting worse on day 2.
Clindamycin was added on my medicines and in fairness, I had a good response to the drug. However, I noticed on day 3 that rashes were sprouting all over my body. Oh no! Could it be the shrimp, or crabs? Could it be the volume of egg whites I've eaten the past few days? Or the chicken congee? I have rashes on my back, stomach, hands, legs, and those on the back are really itchy!!! Take note: I've been regularly taking a bath and my bed sheets are always fresh. So this has really got to be due to something that I've ingested.
As of this writing, I've stopped taking medicines and stopped eating as well. I'm so hungry. I will continue with gargling Bactidol and I hope that the tonsilitis and the rashes would just go away.
I'm hoping for a fast recovery. I hope that water therapy and fruit diet would help.
