August Rush

It's flooding everywhere in Metro Manila. Landslides are happening in Quezon City. It's such a sad sight to see NLEX being transformed from being a concrete road to what seems like a lake. A lot of streets are impassable for both people and vehicles.

There's no typhoon but the rains have reportedly been non-stop since yesterday. Worse, a tropical depression is still coming and the rains are expected to pour until Thursday. What would happen now to our kababayans in the affected areas?

It's insane that Davao is currently very hot and the sun is scorchingly smiling up above our heads right now while intense rain and thunderstoms are beating Luzon. Several areas have already been declared in a state of calamity. I really hope that this won't be the next Ondoy. I still have high hopes that people from the affected areas are more prepared for the flood now than they were 3 years ago.
