The next paragraph was made using Samsung Note's Voice Command. Please bear with the spelling and grammatical errors.....

last february, i wrote about samsung galaxy grand. I never thought that i would be able to own this phone. When i wrote about it a few months ago, i told myself that samsung galaxy grand is the ideal phone for me. ? Now i am writing this post via speaker voice command of the tablet that is included in the package of sun cellular plan 1799 with its selling point of unlimited mobile data using the samsung galaxy grand.
My review:
i was impressed with the note 8's voice command. It recognized the samsung galaxy and sun cellular network by having their first letters capitalized. It did not have a lot of errors as you can see above. And most of all, it recognized the words that i spoke with impressive accuracy.
i remember before when i used Siri... i used it with difficulty because it cant understand my words, me and my friends have had a lot of fun with that.
When i said that samsung galaxy grand is my ideal phone, i really thought that it was the phone which was meant for me. I had a change of heart when i started using it. I admit that i am having difficulty in using full touch screen phones and devices, and it is not limited only to a particular brand. I find typing difficult in samsung galaxy grand, the same feeling of detest that have for iphones and other full touch screen phones. But the note 8 is a different story, i think im loving this tab because i could really use this for my business! I just wish that it came with a mobile unlimited data plan in its own without having to connect it with other devices.
That's all for now. And if you think that i have too many errors in capitalization and , that's because im too lazy. Bye!
There's still a lot of space for improvement. But technology seems to improve faster that anyone could think. The competition between Samsung and Iphone made it even faster for improvement.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually using Samsung S3, though I didn't get it from Sun, hehe, I used to own a Galaxy as well but not the grand type. Voice command seem to more useful than typing the words in the phone. I always have that error whenever I text especially with a screen type pad. Will see if I can pull of something like that on my S3.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing lot of great news about Samsung and I'm bound to shift my iphone 4 to a S3.
ReplyDeleteI think the voice command of Samsung works really better than Siri. But I still prefer Apple phones. I've been using iPhone for four years now and it has never failed.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. They say that once you go for Apple, you'll be hooked. =)
DeleteAaaaah yes! Siri vs Samsung Voice Command. Siri = 0; Samsung VC= 5. Haha I've been reading a lot of review about these feature comparison between iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones/notes and I must say there's really nothing to compare. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's cool! Not bad for a voice command, the grammar errors are minimal. Lazy texters (like me) will definitely love this feature. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! I chose iphone4s instead of Samsung. I did not listen to my husband's advice about the Siri command and now while reading this, I'm having a second thought. The phone will be delivered this Tuesday.
ReplyDeletei really love samsung gadgets ever since, they make quality products. I prefer samsung than Nokia
ReplyDeleteOh my! Siri's going to lose the game now! I think I'm going to switch back to Samsung.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the old keypad where I can type without looking. I prefer writing than talking so voice operation does not excite me much. If someone will gift me with one, though, who am I to refuse? ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! We feel the same way with the touch screen pad
DeleteFull touch-screen phones will always have the challenge of typing difficulty, as there is little sense of touch in the writing. Having said that, I do believe it's the future.
ReplyDeleteAlso on an unrelated note, telling your readers you're "too lazy" to correct spelling and punctuation makes me feel as if you don't really care about what we feel when we read your posts :) Just a friendly hint!
Thanks, Jsncruz. I'm just being honest that correcting spelling and punctuation using full touch screen devices really irks me. It's different when I'm using a full keyboard like on a laptop or desktop. I'm sorry if it didn't sit too well with you. Besides, I made the post using the Samsung Note and it was my decision to leave the errors as is, since I was testing the device and wanted for my readers to see what I experienced in using the tab. Thanks for your friendly hint, and just to let you know, I'm not lazy all the time. Hehehe!
