Just recently, we had to deal with a leaky shower here at home. I thought that we needed to replace the whole shower set and I was kind of thinking how bad an investment this shower that we installed more than 2 years ago. Fortunately, I learned that we only need to replace the shower hose and not the entire set.
So, a shower hose could be replaced for just P300+ (around $7). Dad bought the new hose and installed it himself. I saw him replace the part and it was easy, I could have done it myself but I didn't know about gaskets in shower hoses so that's another thing that I learned tonight.
So if you've got a leaky shower, check which part of the shower set you need to repair or replace. It could just be the shower hose.
