I rarely go out with my friends, everybody seems to be busy these days. Most of my friends from high school, college, and law school, are either working or busy taking care of their family. At 28 years old, I rarely go out with people and I have come to a point in my life where I feel comfortable spending time alone with my self like eating alone in a restaurant or shopping alone in a mall.
But these past two days were different. Yesterday, I was able to spend some quality time with Kaye at a restaurant by the beach and we had fun. We both miss the other members of our group but they were not available at that time.
Today, I had a fun time with my blogger friends at Zoofari. How I miss videoke! The last time I held a microphone was probably during Thea's thanksgiving party and that was about 5 months ago and I had a really bad cough during that time so you can just imagine how difficult it was for me to sing. Every time me and my law school friends would schedule a videoke night, nobody would sing, we would end up chatting! It's a good thing that I was at Zoofari today to sing some tunes.
I also had a fun night at Bigby's Abreeza. It's my first time to join the Trivia Night and finish it, we placed second, not bad.
I remember a message that I sent someone a few years ago. It was something like "digits and dot coms won't replace personal interaction." That still remains true even today. Although I am very much present online, there is really no alternative to face to face human interaction. Now I'm missing someone so bad.
