Archery Class at Bellevue Square

Archery is one of the sports that I wanted to indulge into the moment I watched The Hunger Games. Although I did not fuel the desire to try Archery, I was caught by surprise when I finally had the chance to handle a bow and arrow while I was at Bellevue Square yesterday.

The Archery Class was handled by Hawkeye Archery Center and they offer Learn to Shoot Lessons, Intermediate Shooting Lessons, and Advanced/Competitive Shooting lessons to everyone interested to learn Archery.

This is my first time to handle a bow and as expected, it was heavy. Here, I was practicing how to properly carry the bow and if you have a trained eye, you can see that I still have a lot of things to learn. But my first shoot wasn't too bad for a first timer.

This reminds me a lot of my first practical shooting event. But Archery is a more relaxing experience for me. I am actually considering to pursue this sport and Coach Jun of Haweye Archery Center recommended that I buy a compound bow at Ebay. Hmmm, who knows I'll be like Katniss Everdeen in the future?
