If you live in the Philippines, you have probably seen your mom or your neighbors hanging Christmas decorations as early as today. In this tropical country, Christmas starts on the first day of the "ber" months. By the time September comes, vendors selling lanterns, lights, and Christmas decorations would sprout like mushrooms and you can also see these festive decorations in malls and even in government offices. Actually, on my way home this evening, I passed by a vendor who sells Christmas lights at the sidewalk. It was beautiful to watch, it gave me the feeling that Christmas is really in the air.
